📖 The Story of ABI Resources: Service, Truth, and the People We Protect
At ABI Resources, we believe in one simple truth: People with disabilities deserve dignity, transparency, and unwavering support.
Founded in Connecticut, ABI Resources provides life-changing care through the Medicaid Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver Program. We serve individuals living with:
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
Stroke
ALS
Severe Autism
Spinal Cord Injury
Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and more
Every day, our team helps people regain independence, rebuild their lives, and re-enter their communities. We do this through supported employment, housing assistance, social skill development, and care coordination.
🛡️ A Mission Built on Advocacy
We are more than a provider. We are a voice.
Our leadership has filed public whistleblower reports with federal and state agencies to protect the people we serve. When something threatens our clients’ rights, access to care, or Medicaid program integrity, we document it and take lawful action.
🧠 Why This Matters
The people we serve are often overlooked. Many have memory loss, speech difficulty, or no family to advocate for them. That’s why we fight for:
Disability rights
Medicaid transparency
Safe, stable services
Whistleblower protection
Access to civil rights agencies
Justice in the digital age
🧾 What We Stand For
We serve with truth.
We report with courage.
We speak for those silenced.
We follow the law, document everything, and protect our records.
We believe that real care means never looking away.
